Shankha Waist Bead Strand

“... Drink of her waters and you will be healed. Hold her close enough and you can hear God’s song...” - D. Marshall

This is the strand of rebirth; life - death - new beginnings.

In Sanskrit the conch shell is known as “Shankha” meaning a shell holding sacred water. It is said that the one day the oceans trembled and roared birthing this shell.

Ancient practices believed that drinking the water of this shell could heal you. And that it’s sounds spoke the language of Buddha. From India, Tibet, China, Hawaii, Africa and beyond this shell was revered for its ability to call forth life and remove negativity.

As a waist bead strand, the Shankha focal point is our reminder that we can call forth new life. In the center of our being we hold sacred waters. We sing songs that remove negativity and we are the epicenter of new beginnings. - Divine Feminine energy.
