Nifemi - "Love Me"

The Nifemi waist bead strand reminds us to love ourselves as if it is the sole mission we were created to complete. Love yourself utterly and completely with no reservations. 
 
Connected to the Heart, Throat and Third Eye chakra this strand is acknowledging that this world, this reality - and the interactions we have within it - are first and foremost, a reflection of the interactions that we have within ourselves. To be loving, kind, patience and compassionate starts with first giving ourselves that energy and knowing that we are worth nothing short of it. 
 
With roots in various tribes native to Africa, waist beads are traditionally gifted to a girl or woman at various milestones in her life. These beads can be symbolic of many different important momentous occasions that she has reached.
Waist Management: When used for weight loss, waist beads provide a gentle reminder of our waists' size as it either becomes snug with our expansion or loose with our growth. As you begin to lose weight you can adjust and tighten your waist beads, keeping them with you through the phases of your journey.
 
Mindfulness: Waistbeads can be used to promote mindfulness during meditation. They draw us in and remind us to focus on our breath as we feel the shifting of the beads up and down our abdomen with each inhale and exhale.
