Danae Waist Bead Strand

In Greek mythology Danae was the only daughter of King Acrisius. While seeking a prophecy from an Oracle the King learned that his daughter would birth a son who would at some point become the death of him. 

Upon hearing this he had Danae locked in a tower so deeply buried that there was only one single sky light for air. It was his hopes that by entrapping her the prophecy would never be fulfilled. 

Even in midst of her entrapment she still shined bright enough to catch the eye of Zeus, the King of Gods. Despite her unfortunate conditions and irregardless of her circumstances she was still sensual and luxuriant feminine energy that vibrated on a level the Gods could feel. Seeing her, Zeus came to her in a shower of gold, relieving her of her situation, creating a son and fulfilling the prophecy. 

This strand reminds us that no matter what we feel entrapped by we are still luxuriant divine feminine energy. 

Circumstances do not define you. Even if you feel buried in the life surrounding you, you are still sensual opulence and earth given luxury.
